The warm days are increasing ! I can't wait for the cherry blossoms to bloom.

This time, we will introduce you to some spectacular cherry blossom viewing spots in Yamanashi🌸

1.  Yatsushiro Furusato Park : Togenkyo Spring Festival (Fuefuki City)

Of all the spots we'll introduce this time, Yatsushiro Furusato Park is the one where you can enjoy cherry blossoms the earliest.

Yatsushiro Furusato Park is one of the main venues for the Togenkyo Spring Festival, which is held every spring.

From the hill with a great view, you can see peach blossoms along with cherry blossoms🍑

The 2025 Togenkyo Spring Festival will be held from March 23rd to April 20th.

This is the perfect place for those who want to enjoy spring little early🌸

2.Katsunuma Budokyo Station : Koshu Cherry Blossom Festival (Koshu City)

The Koshu Cherry Blossom Festival will be held around Katsunuma-Budokyo Station from March 29th to 30th, 2025.

Approximately 1,000 cherry trees welcome visitors around the station.🌸

The combination of cherry blossoms, the remains of the old station, old carriages, and old tunnels makes it well worth a visit !

3.Yamataka Jindai Sakura : Jindai Cherry Blossom Festival (Hokuto City)

The Yamataka Jindai Sakura tree in Hokuto City is a large cherry tree that is said to be over 2,000 years old.

It is one of the three most famous cherry blossoms in Japan. The variety is Edohigan cherry.

According to legend, this cherry tree was planted by Yamato Takeru (a Japanese hero) during his expedition to the eastern part of Japan🌸

The 2025 Jindai Cherry Blossom Festival is scheduled to be held from March 29th to April 13th.

There is a lot to see in the surrounding area, including daffodil fields and descendants of famous cherry trees from all over Japan😍

 

4.Iwadonoyama Maruyama Park (Otsuki City)

Mt.Iwadonoyama is located just behind Otsuki Station and has an elevation of 634m, the same as Tokyo Skytree.

At Maruyama Park, located on the mountainside, you can see Mount Fuji between the cherry blossoms🌸

The best time to see the cherry blossoms here is from late March to early April.

It is just over a 30-minute walk from Otsuki Station.

It's recommended for a cherry blossom viewing hike while enjoying the spring weather.🏃‍♀️

5.Kawaguchiko : Fuji Kawaguchiko Cherry Blossom Festival (Kawaguchiko)

Kawaguchiko(Lake Kawaguchi) offers beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons.

In spring, it is colored with cherry blossoms🌸

The 2025 Fuji Kawaguchiko Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from April 1st to April 13th.

AT the main venue on the north shore of Kawaguchiko (around the Kawaguchiko Circular Hall), you can enjoy the beautiful cherry blossoms as well as craft stalls.

There are many other famous cherry blossom spots around Kawaguchiko, such as Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine.

We recommend taking a day to explore them all🥰

6.Arakurayama Sengen Park : Cherry Blossom Festival (Fujiyoshida City)

Cherry blossoms, Mt. Fuji, and the five-story pagoda🌸

Arakurayama Sengen Park is one of the most representative spring scenes in Japan.

The 2025 Arakurayama Sengen Park Cherry Blossom Festival will be held from April 1st to April 18th.

During the festival, the parking lot closest to Arakurayama Sengen Park will be closed. Please be careful🚙

In addition, admission may be restricted during the festival to reduce congestion.

We recommend that you allow plenty of time when visiting.

7.Oshino Hakkai : Cherry blossoms along the Shinnasho River (Oshino Village)

Oshino Hakkai, a popular spot for beautiful spring-fed ponds, is especially beautiful during cherry blossom season.

Approximately 600 cherry trees are planted along the Shinnasho River that flows around the ponds, providing a visual treat for visitors along with Mt.Fuji🌸

The cherry blossoms here bloom later than in other parts of Yamanashi, and the best time to see them is expected to be from mid to late April.

Take a stroll the river and enjoy the view of cherry blossoms and Mt.Fuji to your heart's contact !
